The Acupuncture Clinic of Napa was founded by Irit Weir in 1987. Since then, the clinic has offered patients a multiple modality approach to health and healing including Acupuncture, body work, Biological Decoding, Somatic, Family, and Constellation, Qi Gong practice, as well as, an extensive herbal, homeopathic and supplement pharmacy. The clinic seeks to create a safe and nurturing environment for individuals, couples and families to be supported in their process and healing journey.
Often our bodies react to stress and conflicts in ways that we do not always understand. The clinic offers ways to examine and discover the mystery of our body’s wisdom. Through guidance with our practitioners, patients are able to translate the biological needs of the body in order to address the suffering and pain that they experience.

Pain Management
Pain is the most commonly treated condition at the clinic. Acupuncture treatment can decrease pain by releasing endorphins and restoring the natural flow of energy. It has been shown to impact the release of Serotonin which can reduce both chronic or acute pain.

It is our pleasure and joy to assist our patients, of all genders, in their journey into parenthood. Our treatments stand alone as a full modality or can work adjunctively with IVF and IUI. Moreover, we collaborate with midwifes and OBGYN doctors to bring you the best of care.

Patients who are diagnosed with Cancer and/or an Autoimmune condition will often search for additional support to offset some of the side effects of Western medical treatments. Our support includes a comprehensive approach to habits change, herbal decoction, meditation, and other ways to support the body’s natural immunity.
We Carry Herbal Medicines
Herbal medicine has its origins in ancient cultures. It involves the use of plants to treat disease and enhance general health and wellbeing. The herbs that we prescribe do not solely treat symptoms, they also treat the entire human being, taking into consideration your unique constitution and bodily patterns in mind. Herbal medicine aims to return the body to a state of natural balance so that it can heal itself. Different herbs act on different systems of the body and our aim is to individualize your herbal formulas.
Some herbs that are commonly used in herbal medicine include: Echinacea, Dong Quai, Garlic, Ginger, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng. We carry these herbs and many others.
