"The sky is the limit; moving through false belief is like a ray of bright light breaking through dark clouds. Tears. Healing is feeling."

I have been practicing Holistic and Integrative Acupuncture for over 30 years. My main intention has been and is to empower patients to find pathways back to health by examining underlying fears, anxieties, and false beliefs. Often the gap between our internalized stress and the stories we tell ourselves can create symptoms, yet we are not aware of their originality. Growing up in Israel allowed me to personally understand that our internal wars and societal's external wars have similar effects on the body. Beyond my formal education in the USA and China, most of my more vivid learning was from my grandmother and mother. I saw how they integrated herbs in cooking balanced food and how my family used cupping for various ailments.

I obtained my Master's Degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in SF. During this time, I was in an intensive internship at the Guangzhou (Canton) Hospital in the People’s Republic of China where I learned to integrate Eastern and Western medicine. After this experience, I continued my education by studying with worldwide acupuncture masters. I then taught Acupuncture/Integrative Medicine at Napa Valley College from 1988-1990. Throughout my career, I have given multiple lectures at many institutions. I specialize in the following areas: infertility and gynecological issues, cancer, autoimmune disorders and pain management.

I am committed to supporting areas of conflicts in the world through dialogue groups, which seek to connect people from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to create peace whether it be peace of mind, peace of body, or peace of spirit and soul. These types of peace are integrated into the medicine that I practice. Beyond my healing work, my main pride and joy is my family life with my partner and our three children.

Dr. Nina K. Beatie, D.C.

I have been a chiropractor for 28 years. I also work well with local doctors, specialists and physical therapists and will refer when necessary.

I grew up on a farm in Napa, milking the family cow and farming Christmas trees. What a way to grow up! I attended Humboldt State University and Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in San Jose, California, graduating in 1984. I have been in private practice in Napa since 1993.

As a lifelong athlete, I competed in high school and college cross country and track and field. I am active to this day and love it.... I continue to stay active enjoying hiking, biking, dancing, swimming, and stretching. I also enjoy gardening, preparing and eating healthy food. I live in Napa with my husband of 20 years and two sons.

Susanne LaBarge L.Ac.

Susanne LaBarge has been practicing Chinese Medicine for over 30 years. She knew she would become a doctor at age 5. At 18, she was prescribing herbs and giving dietary recommendations to friends and family, and was very encouraged by the excellent results.

As she contemplated western medical school, she was unhappy with the prospect of only offering drugs or surgery for her patients’ health issues.

She was attracted to the efficacy of Chinese Medicine, and she became licensed as an herbalist and a practitioner of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She loves what she does, and is skilled at assisting her patients to reconnect to themselves, to that internal place where healing truly begins.
